Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for purchasing from TripPDF. We take great care in creating our digital travel handbooks and itineraries to ensure they deliver real value for your travels. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
TripPDF Products are sold through Paddle, our authorised payment provider and merchant of record. When you complete a purchase, you enter into a transaction with Paddle, which resells our Products on our behalf. This policy supplements, and must be read together with, the Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy. If there is any inconsistency, Paddle's terms govern your transaction. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
1. Digital Products
All Products sold by TripPDF are digital goods delivered electronically in PDF format. Products are made available immediately after payment is confirmed. Unless required by applicable law or approved under the terms below, Transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that:
- The Product is a digital download available immediately after payment
- Paddle processes your payment and issues your purchase confirmation
- Where permitted by law, you may be asked during checkout to consent to immediate delivery of digital content before any statutory withdrawal period ends
2. Statutory Withdrawal and Cancellation Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase and receive a full refund within a set period after your Transaction. These rights are administered by Paddle as merchant of record and are set out in the Paddle Refund Policy.
2.1 European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and United Kingdom
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA, Switzerland, or UK, you have a 14 calendar day right to withdraw from your purchase and receive a full refund, starting from the date of the Transaction.
This right does not apply to digital content that you have started to download, stream, or otherwise use if, during checkout, you expressly agreed that the Product could be made available to you before the end of the 14-day period. That consent may be requested during the checkout process.
2.2 Other Regions
Consumers in certain other countries may have additional statutory cancellation rights, including:
- Turkey and Israel: 14-day withdrawal right from the date of the Transaction
- Canada: 7-day cancellation right after delivery
- South Korea, Brazil, and China: 7-day cancellation right after delivery
- Singapore: 5-day cancellation right after delivery or first access

3. Discretionary Refunds
Paddle may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests submitted within 14 days of the Transaction date. Submitting a request within this period does not guarantee a refund. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Refunds will not be issued where there is evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.
If a refund is approved, access to the relevant Product will cease, and the refund will be processed to your original payment method where possible, generally within 14 days of approval.
4. Refunds for Product Issues
We stand behind the quality of our Products. Refunds may also be available where a Product is not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.
4.1 Defective or Corrupted Files
If the PDF file you received is corrupted, unreadable, or fails to open on standard PDF readers, please contact us first at hello@trippdf.com. We will attempt to resolve the issue by re-sending the file. If the issue persists and cannot be resolved, you may request a refund through Paddle.
4.2 Significantly Misrepresented Content
If the Product you received is substantially different from its description on the Site (for example, if a handbook advertised as covering "Bangkok, Thailand" instead covers an entirely different destination), you may request a refund. Minor differences in scope, phrasing, or styling do not qualify.
4.3 Duplicate Purchases
If you were accidentally charged twice for the same Product, contact us or Paddle and we will work to refund the duplicate charge promptly.
4.4 Supplier Delivery Failures
If TripPDF fails or unreasonably delays in delivering a Product due to technical issues on our side, you are entitled to a replacement or refund of the charges paid, in line with the Paddle Buyer Terms.
5. How to Request a Refund
To withdraw from a purchase, cancel where applicable, or request a refund:
- For statutory or discretionary refunds, contact Paddle using the "View receipt" or support link in your purchase confirmation email, or visit paddle.net and select the refund option
- For Product quality or delivery issues, email us first at hello@trippdf.com with your order number or the email address used for purchase
- If we cannot resolve a technical or Product issue, contact Paddle's support team and provide details of the issue and any response you received from us
Refund requests must be made within the applicable statutory or discretionary period described above. Paddle's transaction records will be used to verify eligibility and timing.
6. What May Not Qualify for a Refund
Outside of any statutory rights that apply to you, refunds are generally not available for:
- Not reading the Product description before purchasing
- Travel information that has changed since the Product was published (prices, business closures, schedule changes, etc.)
- Subjective dissatisfaction with writing style, design, or depth of content, where the Product matches its description
- Inability to open the file due to your device lacking a PDF reader
- Requests submitted after the applicable statutory or discretionary period has expired
Change-of-mind requests may still be considered by Paddle within the 14-day discretionary review period, but approval is not guaranteed.
7. Subscriptions and Cancellations
TripPDF Products are currently sold as one-time digital purchases. If a subscription offering is introduced in the future, you may cancel a subscription at any time with effect from the end of your current billing period through Paddle's buyer portal or the link in your subscription confirmation email. Cancellation prevents future charges but does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period, except where required by law.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
We encourage you to contact Paddle or TripPDF directly to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. This often results in faster resolution.
If you initiate a chargeback or payment reversal, access to the relevant Product may be temporarily suspended while the matter is reviewed. Filing a chargeback for a valid purchase without first attempting to resolve the issue may result in suspension of your account.
